Membership Benefits
The Coastal Entrepreneurial Council (CEC), founded in 1995, encourages the creation and development of entrepreneurial, high-growth businesses by sponsoring educational programs and supportive activities for its members and the community. The CEC serves southeastern North Carolina.
CEC members come from five interest groups:
- Prospective entrepreneurs who want to know what to expect after the start-up stage.
- Entrepreneurs who want to position their firms for growth.
- Entrepreneurs and their management teams who want to sustain present growth.
- Veteran entrepreneurs who want to help other firms succeed.
- Service providers and investors who want to assist entrepreneurial, high-growth businesses.
The Coastal Entrepreneurial Council helps the one-person business become a ten-person firm, the 20-person firm expand into new markets, and the 50-person firm become an Inc. 500 enterprise.
